The founder of Brite & Clean Windows, Tim Bloom, spent his first day on the job as a window cleaner at the young age of only 3 years old! OK, maybe he was just a little more in the way sitting in his father's window washing bucket.
You see, Tim comes from a family where his father paid his way through college wasing windows and his brother did the same. By age 12 Tim was working with his brother on "route work" at local businesses and occasionally washing the windows for some large two-story homes in his home town of Springfield Missouri.
Tims' family was a pioneer in the hard water stain removal field, creating a product that they could use to remove the most difficult hard water stains you could find in the Coachella valley. After a few years of successful field0-testing, they introduced the product they called the Simple Solution to the public at local hardware stores in Palm Springs, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio and Desert Hot Springs.
Then in 1998, Tim met a fellow inventor that had developed a protective coating for glass that could slow or prevent hard water stains on shower doors called Diamon-Fusion. The process had been relegated to manufacturing of new shower glass, but an invention created by Tim opened up the process to be applied in the field to existing glass surfaces.
In 2001 the Diamon-Fusion process was awarded a patent by the United States Patent Office and Tim received an undisclosed sum and stock in the newly formed Diamon-Fusion International for his mobile field application invention.
